The Metropolitan Opera's 2025-26 season of Saturday matinee broadcasts continues on April 11 with Mozart's "Don Giovanni," in a performance from last September, conducted by Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
It stars bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green in the title role of the notorious seducer. Federica Lombardi is Donna Anna, who seeks to avenge Giovanni's murder of her father, and Ben Bliss is Anna's noble fiancé, Don Ottavio. Adam Plachetka is Leporello, who serves and abets Giovanni against his better judgment. Janai Brugger is Giovanni's scorned lover Donna Elvira, while Hera Hyesang Park is his latest target, the peasant girl Zerlina. The cast also features William Guanbo Su and Adam Palka. Maestro Nézet-Séguin led the Met Orchestra and Chorus – in his first Mozart opera with the company.
