This week on Kids Commute, you'll hear from all four members of the Harlem Quartet! All the pieces you'll hear this week are also played by them.
The Harlem String Quartet was founded in 2006, and its current members are Ilmar Gavilan, Melissa White, Jaime Amador, and Felix Umansky.
The Quartet was founded by the Sphinx Organization, whose mission is to advance diversity in classical music and engage new audiences with varied repertoire that includes works by minority composers.
