The program featured several pieces composed by Stephenson, including "Martha Uncaged," a trumpet concerto that can also be danced as a ballet.
The piece is a musical portrait of dancer and choreographer Martha Graham.
The TSO's performance of "Martha Uncaged" featured principal trumpet Ken Larson as the soloist.
Another Stephenson piece on the program was the ballet "Wooden Dimes."

Capping things off was a performance of Aaron Copland's masterpiece "Appalachian Spring," a ballet he composed in collaboration with Martha Graham.
Jonah Powell engineered the audio recordings.
Thanks to Rebecca Childs and the TSO team for additional support.
