Listen: 2022 Interlochen Arts Camp's Advanced String Quartets

Every summer, Interlochen Arts Camp's Advanced String Quartet program welcomes high school musicians who focus on learning complete string quartets.

The 16 students are divided into four quartets, and each quartet learns one movement of a four-movement string quartet by a major composer.

During the first half of camp, this summer's Advanced String Quartet students learned a quartet by Franz Joseph Haydn.

During the second half, they learned a quartet by Felix Mendelssohn.

Hear each quartet perform its individual movement of the quartet on demand below.
