Composed by Jeffrey Cobb and with text by Laura Knight Cobb, "The Lesson of the Lark" celebrates the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment and women's right to vote.
The piece received its world premiere performance online last month.
The Northwestern Michigan College Choirs joined narrator Laura Knight Cobb and soloists Laura Osgood Brown and Kaylen Wheeler-Gooden for the performance.
A jazz orchestra included NMC music faculty and friends.
