On Tuesday, May 7, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will feature music performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Listen at about 10:20 a.m. for a performance by pianist Sarah Cahill. She performed "Authentic Presence" by Ingram Marshall in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall at Interlochen

The recordings were engineered by Stefan Wiebe and Michael Culler.

On Monday, May 6, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will include two different Interlochen performances.

At about 10:10 a.m., Performance Today will feature a 2017 performance given by the Danish String Quartet in Interlochen's Corson Auditorium. Michael Culler engineered the recording.

On Monday, April 29, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will feature music performed and recorded at Interlochen.

Karina Canellakis Conducts the WYSO Season Opener

Karina Canellakis has conducted many of the world's top orchestras. She has taken her place on the podium for performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Luxembourg Philharmonic, and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. This week she conducts the season opening concert of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen. The program will be broadcast live on Classical IPR at 8 p.m. on Sunday. It includes music by John Adams, Felix Mendelssohn, and Maurice Ravel.

Pianist Jonathan Biss and tenor Mark Padmore bring late works of Franz Schubert to the stage of Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall at Interlochen Center for the Arts. These world renowned artists perform Schubert’s last song cycle Schwanengesang and the Piano Sonata No. 20 in A Major.
