Michigan's Supreme Court hears all about regulating large animal farms. And this year's first big snowfall shows up just in time for a big birthday.

Some Michigan farmers are upset about the way the state regulates big livestock farms called CAFOs.

They went before the Michigan Supreme Court this week in a case state and environmental groups say could have serious consequences for Michigan's water.

IPR's Ellie Katz will explain in this week's episode.
