This week: Rising rents make TC living harder, and we hear how employers are responding to a lack of childcare in our region.

Up North Lowdown - Interlochen Public Radio, NPR Network

That northern Michigan has a difficult housing market is no secret. There are reams of data to show how costs and demand have gone up while capacity for year-round residents has gone down.

Behind all of those data points are real people. IPR News has launched an occasional series pairing the data with real stories of people under pressure. This week, we bring you the first installment.

Tell us your experience with housing in northern Michigan.

And we'll listen to another installment in our series, "A Crisis of Care," about childcare access in our region.

Thanks for listening!
