Up North Lowdown, Ep. 17: Bridges and stones

How did the cost of a Traverse City-area bridge triple? And we learn more about a sculptor's life and career.

A bridge planned for just south of Traverse City has tripled in cost, at least from the initial number public officials cited. IPR environment reporter Ellie Katz explains what happened.

And we meet Jason Quigno, a sculptor whose art has brought him a lifetime achievement award from the Michigan Legacy Art Park, near Thompsonville.

Listen to the Up North Lowdown for that and other stories from around Michigan. Thanks!
