This week, we head to Leland to visit Tusen Takk — it means "a thousand thanks" in Norwegian — to hear about a residency for artists that offers them some alone time to create. We'll meet Hong Hong, the current artist in residence.

Also: The Grand Traverse County Prosecutor's Office has mended its relationship with a child advocacy center. This week, we explain what went wrong in the first place, and how it resolved.

And, ugh, that smoky weather. The soupy haze comes from Canada's ongoing wildfires in Ontario and Quebec. Here's some advice on how to build a filter.

Plus some Interlochen day campers read us their summertime Mad Lib!
