Wicked Awesome with Quinn: The Perils of Propaganda — Wednesday

This week, we're exploring music from "Wicked," and the life lessons we can learn from the musical.

Hear today's full episode by clicking "Listen" above or find "Intermezzo" from your favorite podcast app.

Welcome to Intermezzo from Interlochen Public Radio, where we take a few minutes to bounce some ideas around about classical music.

Christy L'Esperance will be exploring music and life lessons from the musical "Wicked" with her co-host this week, 12-year-old Quinn.

"Wicked" teaches us about friendship, the power of confidence, propaganda, good and evil and free will. Yesterday we talked about the power of confidence and today we're exploring propaganda. Propaganda is biased or misleading information used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.

This week's Mystery Melody

It's time to test your ears. Each week we have a mystery melody that we have to figure out together. It relates to our topic. (We'll make the melody less mysterious each day.)

If you know the mystery melody, text your name and the title and we’ll give you a shout out on Friday. The number to text is (833) 490-4718.

Christy L'Esperance is Classical IPR's morning host and producer.
