Blissfest 2021 Cancelled

Blissfest draws in bands from all over the world, and focuses on roots music.
Blissfest Music Organization

The Blissfest Music Organization has canceled their festival this summer.

The ongoing circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic were cited as the reason.

The board president said in the press release that safety, community, and long-term sustainability will instead be their focus this year.

“I think we are going to start seeing live music come back," says Executive Director Cindy McSurely. "I think it's probably still too early for festivals, but we’re going to be back, and many others are as well.”

The 40th Blissfest Music festival will take place in July 2022.
