Each year the group hosts the hometown FAMGrove Festival bringing in other artists from all over.
It’s happening this Saturday in a new location: the French Valley Vineyard in Cedar.
"It's sort of like a family reunion, we've had so much support since we were 16 and decided we wanted to do this for a living," band member Sav Madigan said. "This was the perfect place to grow up, to do it that young and to feel safe and cared for. We feel like FAMGrove is a way of giving back to those people in the community who supported us when we were really just trying to figure it out."
They also have a brand new single, "What a Waste."
"It was one of the one of those co-writes where you sit down and it's more of a therapy session that turns into a song over time," Madigan said. "And that day, Kate was getting her breaks replaced, we were paying a bunch of bills. We were having a rough go of it, and we weren't sure, how to balance those feelings of productivity, while at the same time sort of feeling burnt out. And, you know, naturally, that's the perfect time to write a song."
