Sweetwater Evening Garden Club will host their monthly speaker on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7:00 pm, at the Acme Township Hall, 6042 Acme Road, Williamsburg, MI. Our guest speaker will be Nels Veliquette from Cherry Ker, Inc., and Cherries R Us. His program will be on Supporting Local Agriculture Production through tools, techniques and strategies for maintenance and support. Please join us for this interesting presentation of this very important topic, with a meeting following.
Join us for Queer Tales Book Club where we chat about books that are by and/or about LGBTQIA+ people. Reading is not required, and everyone is welcome.
We hang out on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Nelson Room.
This month's book will be Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.

Round up the family and head out to Coy Mountain in Alden, where you will enjoy romping in the woods and reading a good book along the way. The storybook for the month of May is “Zoe and the Fawn” by Catherine Jameson and pictures by Julie Flett.
This is the third and final ephemeral walk at Pete's woods this Spring. The walk is lead by GTRLC steward Paula Dreeszen. Attendance is limited, please register at www.gtrlc.org/recreation-events/events/ .
Join ISN to help manage invasive garlic mustard at Tank Hill in the City of Frankfort. Please bring water, gloves if you would like, and wear long pants and shoes to hike in. Bags to dispose of garlic mustard will be provided, and extra gloves will be on hand. Donuts will also be provided. Register on our website.
