Tunnel Vision: A Masterclass in Rejecting the Line 5 Oil Tunnel
Tunnel Vision: A Masterclass in Rejecting the Line 5 Oil Tunnel
If you’ve been wanting a better understanding of the Line 5 oil tunnel’s real risks and are looking for ways to engage to help stop it, you’ll want to attend.
Groundwork Center, Sierra Club, Progress Michigan, and Oil & Water Don't Mix have teamed up to present the event.
Some of the leading voices in the movement to shut down Line 5 will offer a compelling, clear, and multi-layered picture of why the oil tunnel is a risky and false solution—and explain why we cannot afford to wait to shut down the existing dual pipelines. A Q&A session will give you a chance to ask your questions.
Presenters will also suggest ways you can take action to help stop the proposed oil tunnel and, more broadly, help shut down the freshwater apocalypse-in-waiting known as Line 5.
This event happens at a crucial moment in the arc of Line 5, with multiple court cases and permit reviews underway and key decisions expected in the coming months.
