A fascinating evening presentation and book launch of:  Monet, Mitchell & Me: A Painter's Pilgrimage, photographic highlights and narrative from Ellie Harold's October, 2022 art tour in France.

You won't want to miss these colorful sights: Beginning in Paris trying to see Claude Monet's waterlilies at the l'Orangerie and a huge retrospective of Abstract Expressionist Joan Mitchell's paintings at Fondation Louis Vuitton. Then follow the River Seine as it meanders to the Normandy coast, visiting towns and landscapes that inspired Monet's Impressionism; and, where Mitchell called home for over 30 years. You'll also see Ellie taking a dip in the river and catching rainbows ....

The presentation includes examples from Monet and Mitchell's work and describes how these Art Giants reignited Ellie Harold's artistic process after a recent slump, with a few illustrations from her own past and current paintings. Fellow artists and art appreciators will enjoy exploring with the ins and outs of what it means to be an artist.
