Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra featuring Manitou Winds and Tim Quist (two performances)

The Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra (BASO) will launch the 2022 season with two performances scheduled for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Beulah.

Manitou Winds, a five-piece chamber ensemble based in northern Michigan, will join BASO onstage to perform original works composed by Manitou Winds member, Jason McKinney, and inspired by his exploration of Northern Michigan’s outdoor beauty.

The concert’s finale will feature Tim Quist on organ and Doug Scott on the piano in a performance of Symphony Number Three, “The Organ Symphony,” by Camille Saint-Saëns.

There is a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $10 for seniors to attend the concert. Children under 18 are free.
