Mezzo soprano Lindsey Anderson has performed with the Seattle Opera, the Sarasota Opera and the Virginia Opera, just to name a few. The Northern Express recently named her one of its 20 most fascinating people of 2019 in northern Michigan. She’s also the Assistant Director of Admission (Recruitment & Communications) at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Anderson recently visited IPR’s Studio A with pianist Susan Snyder. Together, they performed "Urlicht" from the Symphony no. 2 "Resurrection" by Gustav Mahler and "A vucchella" by Paolo Tosti.
Anderson talked about the new opera company she's starting in Traverse City and what it's like balancing a full-time professional career with a busy performing schedule.
