Dennis Kim is the concertmaster of the Pacific Symphony and is a Valade Concertmaster at Interlochen Arts Camp.
Dennis Kim visited IPR’s Studio A to perform and chat about his career. Kim told us that Interlochen can be a "magical" place. He also said his kids knew he had "made it" as a professional violinist when he played on the soundtrack for the film "Toy Story 4."
Kim was joined by Renee Lee, a student violinist from Interlochen Arts Camp, and pianist and composer Amanda Harberg.

Lee will be attending the University of Southern California this fall as a student in the Music Industry program. She told IPR that working with Valade Concertmasters like Dennis Kim and Martin Chalifour can be intimidating but is ultimately very helpful to her as a musician.
