In Studio A with Jason McKinney of Manitou Winds

Jason McKinney

  Jason McKinney is a pianist, oboist, harpist and composer. He is also the founder of the local chamber ensemble Manitou Winds.

 

McKinney recently visited IPR’s Studio A to play some music and talk about the upcoming Manitou Winds concert.

 

He played two excerpts from his own arrangement of O'Carolan's Symphony (George Brabazon and Planxty Burke) and an arrangement of the lullaby "Seoithín Seo Hó."
