Conductor Pat Brumbaugh co-hosted Music at Midday sharing pieces to be featured on an upcoming program of the Northwestern Michigan College Concert Band. Musical selections include Mars and Jupiter from the Planets by Gustav Holst, Sheltering Sky by John Mackey and Stephen Bulla's arrangement of the Star Wars Saga by John Williams.
She talked about the band, the repertoire and musicians returning to rehearsals and performances in recent months.
This weekend the NMC Concert Band will perform at the Dennos Museum Center's Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City. The concert is Friday October 22 at 7:30 p.m.
