Throughout the summer, members of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra will be giving free concerts across the region.
The new concert series is called Little Bay Live.
Kim Teachout, a member of the GLCO and one of the co-directors of the Little Bay Live series, joined Classical IPR to talk about their goals and what audience members can expect from these performances.
The series, Teachout explains, is an attempt to go beyond the standard concert hall experience and instead engage with the community on a different level.
"We were looking for ways to connect with our community a little bit deeper," Teachout says.
