The World Youth Symphony Orchestra played alongside about 30 members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, who are here at Interlochen for their annual residency at Interlochen Arts Camp, for week 3 of the 99th Interlochen Arts Camp.
Detroit Symphony Orchestra music director Jader Bignamini conducted DSO composer-in-residence Michael Abels's "Unbound," a piece inspired by Olympian Jesse Owens, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5.
