Few people loved Interlochen more than Margaret Beery, and almost nobody knows more about Interlochen than Margaret Beery did.
A beloved figure in the Interlochen community, Margaret died in January of 2025.
One of Margaret's many contributions to Interlochen was her role as a campus tour guide at the information booth.
She gave hundreds of tours over the years, and she shaped the Interlochen experience for countless students, families and staff.
In 2022, Margaret gave one of her campus tours to Lynn Sanders, a camper from the 1960s who had returned for a visit.
Lynn recorded most of her tour with Margaret and generously shared that recording with Interlochen and IPR.
