Northern Michigan counties are on day three of battling a historic ice storm that has tree branches breaking on homes, roads and power lines.
Some communities have set up warming stations in public buildings as many go without power.
Should you use a warming station, be prepared and bring toiletries, medication, clothes and nonperishable food items.
