On May 31, 2024, Keith Brown will host his final shift at Interlochen Public Radio.
He joined the Classical IPR staff in 2016 as a substitute host, and he became the regular host of Matinee Classics since 2021.
In 2020, Keith launched the program GAMEPLAY, a fresh take on classical music that celebrates the music of video games.
In four seasons of production, GAMEPLAY was syndicated by more than a dozen stations across the country. To our knowledge, it is the only American radio program dedicated to the music of video games.
Keith is leaving IPR to pursue other interests. We wish him all the best.
GAMEPLAY episodes will continue to run in syndication until later in 2024, when replacement programming will be announced.
Music director Amanda Sewell will host Matinee Classics until a new host joins the staff this summer.
