Thanks for listening to and reading "A Crisis of Care," an IPR series looking at the childcare crisis in northern Michigan from the perspectives of experts, parents, providers and employers.

We began our series with an overview of the crisis courtesy of Jennifer Wixson with the Childcare Initiative at North Central Michigan College.

She presented some of the research she's done on childcare needs and pressures in northern Michigan.

We asked Wixson to listen to the stories in this series and then share some thoughts at the end of the week. Listen to the conversation through the audio player above.
