Tony Manfredonia was born and raised in Philadelphia but now calls northern Michigan home.
The composer and singer-songwriter loves his adopted hometown of Petoskey so much that he's released a new single celebrating it.
The single, aptly and simply titled "Petoskey," features Manfredonia himself at the piano and singing.
He's joined on the recording by northern Michigan's Boundarywater Trio as well as an ad hoc choir of Petoskey-based singers.
"Wherever you live, collaboration and investing in the music around you is essential if you're a musician," said Stephanie Cope, a violinist and member of the Boundarywater Trio. "My bandmates and I were delighted to participate in this project."
Manfredonia's new single "Petoskey" is available today (6/16) on all streaming and download platforms. Check it out on demand below.
Manfredonia and the Boundarywater Trio will perform "Petoskey" live on Sunday, June 18 during the first Vespers concert of this summer's annual Bay View Music Festival.
