JoAnn Falletta conducts

Hear JoAnn Falletta, violinist Augustin Hadelich
and the DSO perform live on Friday at 10:45 a.m. on Classical IPR.

Listen live as violinist Augustin Hadelich performs the Chevalier de Saint-Georges' second violin concerto and Stravinsky's concerto for violin and orchestra under JoAnn Falletta's baton on Friday at 10:45 a.m.

Hadelich, who won the 2016 Grammy Award for best classical instrumental solo, teaches at the Yale School of Music.

Falletta regularly conducts the World Youth Symphony Orchestra and currently serves as Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic.

She's recorded more than 120 albums with ensembles from the London Symphony Orchestra to the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Friday's program also includes a new work by Brian Raphael Nabors and Zoltán Kodály's "Dances of Galánta."
