S.S. Badger anchored for a week due to COVID-19

S.S. Badger
The Lake Michigan Carferry is postponing sailing from Ludington to Manitowoc, Wisconsin from August 11th through August 19th out of concern for passenger safety.

The S.S. Badger won’t be crossing Lake Michigan for a week after August 10th.

A crewmember recently tested positive for COVID-19 and several more were possibly exposed. The crew members are quarantined on land while test results are being processed.

As a result, sailing from Ludington to Manitowoc, Wisconsin is being postponed out of concern for passenger safety.

The Lake Michigan Carferry is offering rescheduling and refunds for anyone with a reservation for the cancelled week.

The S.S. Badger is expected to return to service on August 19th.
