<p><em>From Staff Reports</em></p> <p>The board of West Shore Medical Center in Manistee has named a new president.</p> <p>James Barker worked most recently for a hospital in Kansas. He began his nursing career in Frankfort and has also run University Health Services at Central Michigan University.</p> <p>He'll replace Burt Parks, who's run the hospital for 28 years and plans to retire January 3rd.</p>
