<p><em><a href="mailto:stephanlj@interlochen.org">By Linda Stephan</a></em></p> <p>An Indian-run casino in Petoskey, The Odawa Casino Resort, could lower its gambling age from 21 to 19.</p> <p>It's not unheard of to see gamblers under age 21 at northern Michigan casinos. Turtle Creek Casino, in Acme, and the Leelanau Sands both allow gamers as young as 18.</p> <p>But players at the Little River Casino in Manistee have to be 21, as do gamblers who want to play at non-Indian casinos in the City of Detroit.</p> <p>The decision in Petoskey will be made by leaders of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. </p>
