Authorities say one of the teens shot and killed a city Parking Services worker and shot at — and narrowly missed — a Traverse City police officer during a later foot pursuit.

Authorities believe the shooting death of a man found Sunday morning is connected to a Saturday night foot chase in which two teenagers were arrested.

McCord Henry is suing Benzie County and four current or former Benzie County Sheriff’s deputies, in a federal civil rights lawsuit over what the complaint states is a culture of misogyny that contributed to his mother’s murder.
