National Writers Series

Jan 6, 2011

Doug Stanton published best selling books in 2001 and 2009. The Traverse City author noticed a dramatic change in the publishing industry in between his two books. When he went around the country to promote Horse Soldiers in 2009 the audiences at bookstores were smaller, a lot smaller. So he started the National Writer's Series. Now when writers come to Traverse City they appear before crowds of hundreds of people. This week on Points North we'll talk with Doug about the 2011 line-up and the future of books. Live Friday morning at 9:00 with a rebroadcast at 9:00 pm.
