Jader Bignamini conducts the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in music of Strauss and Beethoven, and DSO musicians join Interlochen's World Youth Symphony Orchestra for Verdi and Dvorak.

In July 2024, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra visited Interlochen Center for the Arts for its annual performance and residency.

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the DSO performed music by Richard Strauss and Ludwig van Beethoven.

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, 30 musicians from the DSO performed alongside the high school musicians of Interlochen's World Youth Symphony Orchestra in music of Giuseppe Verdi and Antonin Dvorak.

Music director Jader Bignamini was on the podium for both performances.

Both concerts took place in Kresge Auditorium and were broadcast live on Classical IPR.
