Traverse Symphony Orchestra Music Director and Conductor Kevin Rhodes is excited to bring families and the TSO together for the upcoming "Family Surprise Concert."
The concert will be held in Corson Auditorium here on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts on Sunday, March 20 at 3:00 p.m.
The concert will feature music for the whole family - grown-ups and children alike - with big, popular pieces and kids' classics.
IPR's Kate Botello will join Kevin and the TSO onstage, providing some fun facts about the concert repertoire, and will perform the readings of "Carnival of the Animals" and "Peter and the Wolf."
Kevin recently visited IPR to chat with Kate about the concert and the repertoire. To hear the full interview with music included, please click the blue "Listen" button at the top of the page.
