Dinah Haag, director of the Benzie County Community Chorus, visited Classical IPR to talk about the group's concerts this weekend. She brought some recordings of the music to be sung on the upcoming programs.
The 2021 Sounds of Summer concerts include works by Craig Hella Johnson, Charles Albert Tindley and Ian Tamblyn, Imagine Dragons, The Beach Boys and more.
The performances are June 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Frankfort United Methodist Church. Attendees should bring a chair because the concerts are outdoors in the parking lot.
