Explore native plants up close with IPR and the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.
Discover plants you may not know, like blue stem and junegrass, that are essential to the health of ecosystems across northern Michigan.
The evening will feature conversations about native plants and ecological restoration with IPR Environment Reporter Ellie Katz and GTRLC’s Senior Conservation Ecologist Angie Bouma and Director of Stewardship Chris Garrock.
You’ll also have a chance to tour the conservancy’s native plant greenhouse and botany lab and explore the universally accessible Looyenga Family Trail, and learn about the ongoing restoration of Mitchell Creek Meadows.
