Detroit Symphony Orchestra LIVE: October 18, 2024

Classical IPR will broadcast the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performing the music of Benjamin Britten, Anna Clyne and Jean Sibelius live on Friday, Oct. 18 at 10:45 a.m. ET.

Friday morning, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra presents a concert entitled "Sea Scenes," featuring music inspired by the sea.

The concert will be led by the DSO’s newly appointed Principal Guest Conductor Tabita Berglund and feature violinist Pekka Kuusisto.

The program includes Benjamin Britten's Four Sea Interludes from "Peter Grimes," the United States premiere of Anna Clyne's "Time and Tides" and the Lemminkäinen Suite by Jean Sibelius.
