PULSE is an active undergraduate saxophone quartet at Michigan State University, studying saxophone under the instruction of Joseph Lulloff.
Since forming in August of 2020, PULSE has competed in a variety of national competitions and performed masterclasses for audiences of all ages. Composed of students Zachary Costello, Luke Haight, Owen Robinson and Michael Ethier, each member is pursuing a degree in music performance or management.
PULSE delivers a wide-ranging repertoire that engages and inspires with a fresh approach to classical music.
This summer, PULSE will be participating in the Sound Garden Project by planting music in unexpected places around northern Michigan.
You might encounter PULSE just about anywhere this summer - in a restaurant, at the airport, or at the library!
They'll also be performing as part of the IPR Live 2022 Summer Concert Series.
