<p><em><a href="mailto:stephanlj@interlochen.org">By Linda Stephan</a></em></p> <p>Cheboygan Memorial Hospital is looking to sell to a hospital system in Flint, and quickly.</p> <p>The hospital is in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and leaders say failure to sell to McLaren Health Care could lead to an "orderly wind down of the organization."</p> <p>Hospital CEO Shari Schult said in a press release that she believes the hospital has the support it needs for the sale from most of its creditors.</p> <p>Cheboygan Memorial is the largest employer and only hospital in the county with nearly 400 employees. </p> <p>In Petoskey, Northern Michigan Regional Hospital is undergoing a name change. It now becomes McLaren - Northern Michigan.</p> <p>NMRH became a subsidiary of McLaren Health Care earlier this year.</p>
