Detroit Medical Orchestra

The physicians, nurses, researchers and other members of the Detroit Medical Orchestra are featured this week on Classical IPR in Concert. The ensemble's mission is "Bringing Healing through Music."

The program for this broadcast includes music of Mozart, Elgar and Vivaldi. Dr. Michael Cher, Chief of Urology at the Karmanos Cancer Center, is the featured soloist in Mozart's Clarinet Concerto. 

The Detroit Medical Orchestra's mission is "Bringing Healing Through Music." Their members are all different types of medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, researchers and medical students. See below for a list of all personnel and their specialties.
