Now, what was that about Greek Muses and roller disco? In its original form, the 1980 movie Xanadu was a critical flop. Roger Ebert said, "There are times when Xanadu doesn't even feel like a movie fantasy, but like a shopping list of marketable pop images."

The Broadway musical version of Xanadu is well aware of the original's oddities  and exploits them to the fullest! The show ran for 512 performances and was nominated for four Tonys in 2007, including Best Musical. Here are Kerry Butler (Kira), Cheyenne Jackson (Sonny) and the Muses performing, "Don't Walk Away."
