On Thursday, November 14, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will feature music performed and recorded at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Tune in to Classical IPR during the 10 a.m. hour to hear pianist Sarah Cahill perform Ingram Marshall's "Authentic Presence." This recital took place in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall at Interlochen.

On Wednesday, October 16, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will feature music performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Listen at about 11.15 a.m. for a performance by pianist Sarah Cahill of excerpts from Meredith Monk's Steppe Music. This recital took place in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall at Interlochen.

This Friday at 8 p.m., Classical IPR in Concert presents a recent recital given by pianist Sarah Cahill at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Each piece on the program was composed specifically for Cahill.

 Pianist Sarah Cahill is an advocate for new classical music and a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory. In 2018, she was given a Champion of New Music Award from the American Composers Forum.

 

Sarah Cahill stopped by Studio A at Interlochen Public Radio to play music of John Adams, Annea Lockwood and Pauline Oliveros. All three of those pieces were written for her.
