Nicholas Goluses

On Wednesday, March 3, the nationally syndicated program Performance Today will feature music performed and recorded at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Listen during the 11 a.m. hour of the program on Classical IPR to hear guitarist Nicholas Goluses play his own arrangement of music by Mikis Theodorakis in a recent recital at the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall.

On Tuesday, December 8, the nationally syndicated program Performance Today will feature two different performances recorded at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

In the 10 a.m. hour, hear the Goldstein-Peled-Fiterstein trio play the Clarinet Trio (op. 114) by Johannes Brahms. This performance took place in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall in 2018.

In the 11 a.m. hour, hear guitarist Nicholas Goluses play two preludes by Heitor Villa-Lobos. This performance took places in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall in 2019.

On Friday, October 23, the nationally syndicated program Performance Today will feature music performed and recorded at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

This week Classical IPR in Concert features guitarist Nicholas Goluses.

Goluses is Professor of Guitar at the Eastman School of Music. His concert tours have taken him across North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia to critical acclaim.

In 2019, Nicholas Goluses performed in the Dendrinos Chapel/Recital Hall at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

The program included works by Fernando Sor, Johann Sebastian Bach, Maria Newman, Mikis Theodorakis and more. See the complete concert program below.

In Studio A with Nicholas Goluses

Nicholas Goluses is professor of guitar at the Eastman School of Music. He is at Interlochen Arts Academy this week teaching master classes and performing.

Dr. Goluses visited IPR’s Studio A to perform works by Manuel de Falla, Heitor Villa-Lobos and J.S. Bach. He talked about the guitar and approaching new and old compositions. Hear the entire performance and interview below.
