Classical IPR in conversation with Caleb Hudson of Canadian Brass

This weekend, the five members of Canadian Brass will perform in person together for the first time since COVID-19 halted their touring schedule this past March.

They'll be following strict safety protocols, trumpeter Caleb Hudson told Classical IPR.

For example, he joked, each member will play inside their own separate bubble on stage.

An encore presentation of Christmas Time is Here with Canadian Brass will air on Classical IPR.  

This performance from Corson Auditorium was originally broadcast live in December 2016.

The concert features Interlochen alumnus Caleb Hudson, first trumpet in Canadian Brass.

Chris Brubeck in conversation with Classical IPR

 Chris Brubeck and the rest of the Brubeck Brothers Quartet will perform this Saturday night in Traverse City. In addition to being a bassist, a bass trombonist and a jazz composer, Brubeck is also a classical composer. Just last week, the Lexington Philharmonic and Canadian Brass gave the premiere performance of Brubeck's "No Borders."
