Soprano Victoria Schmidt is a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studies with Laura Osgood Brown. She grew up in Kearney, Missouri.

Schmidt recently visited IPR’s Studio A. She performed music of Pauline Viardot and Franz Schubert with collaborative pianist Susan Snyder.

She also explained what it's like to practice when there are two enthusiastic German shepherds who want to sing along.
