But she still has more to do - her newest <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Audra-McDonald-NewYork-Philharmonic/dp/B07CQP6RGL" target="_blank">album</a> "Sing Happy" is her first solo recording with orchestra, and it features many songs that she has never recorded before.</p><p>McDonald performs with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Andy Einhorn. The album includes musical theater classics by Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim and Frank Loesser as well as newer music by&nbsp;Kate Miller-Heidke and Adam Guettel.&nbsp;</p><p>"Sing Happy" was recorded live this spring when McDonald performed in the New York Philharmonic's 2018 Spring Gala. She is currently <a href="http://audramcdonald.net/schedule/" target="_blank">touring</a> the United States and performing music from the album on her tour.&nbsp;</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>]]></content:encoded>
