This episode of the Interlochen Collection features three works conducted by Helen Quach.

Quach was a world renowned orchestral conductor from the 1960s to the early 2000s, conducting many major symphonies throughout her lifetime.

She visited Interlochen’s National Music Camp in 1966, 1969, and 1978, becoming the first woman to conduct the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the first woman to spend a week and do a full concert at Interlochen.
