Michigan Writers on the Air - January 2016

A love story and the allure of far away places, Robert Downes talks about and reads from his new book, Travels with My Wife.

Co-authors Loraine Anderson and Lynn Freeland share the story of their two-year journey to collect and save the Civil War history of one small Michigan town as they discuss their book, Remembering Mayville’s Boys in Blue.

At the end Fleda Brown will provide an audio essay on contemporary American poet Jo McDougall.
